Healtylicious Honey Carrot Cake

I made this when I was stuck on seemingly long boring weekend ('coz we didn't have any plan to went out). So, I was just stayed at home, made some sweet date with my oven and mixer.


First day - Nov 15, 2012 (c'mon, post from last year??), I made this healthy and delicious cake : Honey Carrot Cake:) You can see what it looks like. *sigh*

It's perfect, the shape, the taste, the texture... make me feel like a masterchef !! Unfortunately I forgot capturing the step by step process :((

So, here's the recipe.. (I took it from Sajian Sedap)



HONEY CARROT CAKE

Bahan-bahan :
  4 butir telur
 60 gram gula pasir
 25 gram madu
1/2 sendok makan emulsifier (sp/tbm)
125 gram tepung terigu protein sedang
 75 gram wortel parut halus
 50 gram margarin, dilelehkan

Cara Pengolahan :
  1. Kocok telur, gula pasir, madu, dan emulsifier sampai mengembang.
  2. Masukkan tepung terigu sambil diayak dan dikocok perlahan.
  3. Masukkan wortel dan margarin sedikit – sedikit sambil diaduk perlahan.
  4. Tuang di loyang 22x22x4 cm yang dioles margarin dan dialas kertas roti.
  5. Oven 20 menit dengan suhu 190 derajat celsius sampai matang  
Untuk finishingnya, bisa dinikmati 'polos - polos' saja dengan taburan gula halus secukupnya, atau ditutup dengan frosting cheese cream seperti punya saya, diberi sedikit hiasan pemanis dari fondant, bagian samping ditutup dengan kacang mede cincang sangrai.

Rasanya, hmmmm....mantap. Cake-nya ngga terlalu manis, dipadu dengan frosting cheese cream yang sedikit gurih dan creamy dengan rasa manis yang pas. It's perfect for tea time....
